To honour his amazing late wife Tracey, long serving VP Gwilym Jennett started the Tracey Jannett Honours Cap which is given to members of this fine club for loyalty and dedication to rugby club.
At the AGM, Gwilym presented the first cap to Spudge Stanbridge for his 30 years service to the club as both a player, president and VP.
Whilst accepting the cap, Spudge told those present how much of an honour it was and how humbled he was to receive the first Tracey Jennett Honours Cap. He was quoted as saying “I always wondered how the Olympians felt when they received their medals, now I know, I got my gold last night. Thank you Tracey, Gwilym, the committee and of course the Rugby club”.
