It’s with regret we have had to forfeit our opening game against Hellingly. Despite a strong pre-season and a promising squad, injuries and absences meant we could not field a team.
This is never a decision that is taken lightly, and every effort was made by the leadership group to try to get the team fit and ready however two further injuries during midweek training meant this was not possible.
All the players are disappointed however we look forward to our next game which, due to the Jersey Royals fixture being postponed, isn’t until October 15th against Steyning at the Steyning Leisure Centre.
