With one game left till the Christmas break and both teams wanting to finish the year in style, this will be another exciting clash between local rivals.
Barns Green will look to end this year on a high as they host Horsham Barbarians at the Field of Dreams on Saturday. It's snow secret that this fixture always produces tries so it will be a fantastic game.
Coming off the incredible performance against Eastbourne, this is a game that Barns Green want to win so they can fly into the Christmas break with 4 wins from 7 games.
It wont be an easy sleigh ride though as Horsham come off a big win against Steyning and managed to get a win against league leaders Hove 3s so this one isn't a dead cert. They will also want to end this year on a high and sit above Barns Green as we enter the New Year.
One thing that will swing in Barns Green's favour is that it is VPs day so there is bound to be a good crowd of supporters cheering the boys on. The bar 101 will be serving up plenty of port to keep everyone warm so let's hope it is a Claus for celebration come the final whistle.
It is also the final push to raise funds for the Tash for Cash. The club have been raising money for the MNDA Sussex South which is close the club's heart. In honour of current VP and ex player Simon Fluker, the club have so far raised a whopping £1815 towards the worthy Claus so please do donate what ever you can so we can smash last years total!
